In the Spirit of Giving
What started out in 1997 as a way to keep employees from being laid off in the winter time at an amusement park in Central Pennsylvania has become a source of much needed revenue for many local, regional and national non-profit groups. We have been delighted to provide much needed funds to numerous organizations, including but not limited to:
- American Cancer Society
- American Red Cross
- Leukemia Society of America
- The Salvation Army
- American Heart Association
On November 14, 2008, Lakemont Park’s “Holiday Lights on the Lake” program received a national philanthropy award for making well over $100,000.00 available to nonprofit groups during its existence.
Over the past 11 years, Holiday Lights On the Lake has provided much needed funds for many worthwhile causes It is ONLY with your support of this program, that we are able to do so.
Whether you are a sponsor, guest or both, your support of this wonderful community event has helped to make these funds available.
Please plan to visit Holiday Lights On the Lake several times between November 26th and January 10th. With your continued support of this program, Holiday Lights on the Lake will be able to continue to provide funds to many worthy non-profit organizations.
