Rain Checks/Refunds
Lakemont Park does not issue rain checks or refunds. During inclement weather, those rides, which must be closed for safety reasons, will reopen as soon as weather permits.

Attire
Shirts, shoes, and pants/shorts are required. Bathing suits are permitted in the Island Waterpark only. Revealing or offensive clothing is not permitted. Offensive clothing includes t-shirts with offensive language or pictures. Failure to comply with this policy will result in removal from the Park. All children wearing diapers while using the Island Waterpark must wear swim diapers, which may be purchased in the gift shop at the waterpark.

First Aid/Mother's Comfort
First Aid/Mother's Comfort is located at the entrance to the Park. Mother's Comfort is air-conditioned and filled with all the necessities of baby care, including diapers, wipes, and sunscreen, compliments of Giant Eagle of Altoona.

Meeting Place
Please designate a meeting place for your group when you arrive. If a member of your party becomes separated from the rest of the group, please come to the Administrative Office. We will make every effort to help you find the lost member of your group. We can not make announcements over the public address system.

ATM Machine
An ATM machine is located in front of the Park's main parking lot.

Credit Cards/Personal Checks
Visa and MasterCard are accepted at the ticket booths for purchases of All Day Ride and Slide Passes and are also accepted at the Gift Shop at the entrance to the Park. Personal Checks are only accepted in the Park's Administrative Office and only with a driver's license.

Stroller/Wagon/Wheelchair Rental
Strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are available for a nominal fee next to Traintown Miniature Golf. A deposit of $20 or a driver's license is required for rentals.

Lockers/Changing Area
Lockers are available for daily rental next to Traintown Miniature Golf. Coin-operated lockers are available for use at The Island Waterpark. Changing areas are also available at the waterpark.

Parking
Free parking is available next to the Park, as well as in the Parking Garage, which is shared with Galactic Ice and the Altoona Curve. During an Altoona Curve baseball game a fee may be charged. A limited number of handicapped parking is available in front of the Park's entrance plaza on a first come-first served basis.

Courtesy Cart A Courtesy Cart is available each Saturday and Sunday to assist those groups with pavilion reservations into the Park. Items such as coolers, picnic baskets, etc. may be placed within these carts for delivery to the reserved pavilion. The Lakemont Park Courtesy Cart is provided compliments of Days Inn.

Rules and Regulations

No skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, or roller skates are permitted within the Park.

Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted within the Park.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted within picnic pavilions only.

Smoking is not permitted in our Kiddieland area or while waiting in line at rides or concession stands.

All non-swimmers and children must wear life jackets while riding the paddleboats. ALL "Barracuda Twin" riders must wear life jackets.

Some rides and attractions have height restrictions, which must be obeyed for the safety of all guests. Most large rides require riders to be 48" tall or accompanied by an adult.

Pennsylvania Ride Safety Act #1994-58 requires that riders must obey all warnings and directions regarding any ride and must behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injury to themselves or others. Failure to comply is cause for immediate dismissal from the Park without a refund.
